Went over to a friends house yesterday and ended up poking around a few hours at her dad's collection of classic cars. Here are some pictures I took.
Matching baby blue Ford Falcons!
potato-tier front picture, with bonus hot-rodded lawn mower and horse trailer.
This was "the Mexican truck" on account of the hideous stripes on the side. Had a pearlescent paint job underneath the 90s teal-and-purple swooshes.
No clue what these are. I'm not very well-versed in classic Fordery.
Inside the first garage. That is a Shelby, with the man's signature on the interior.
The red car with the flames on the hood is a regular 1st-place winner, to the point they stopped taking it to shows. The truck on the right is a daily driver. Also, a pair of quads because why not.
Inside the award-winning Falcon. The shift indicator and horizontal speedo gave me a raging semi.
The falcon's powerplant.
Inside the daily-driver truck.
Time for a change of pants.
Yup. I'd DD it.
Oh, holy crap. A GM product. My mother might be buying one of these to replace her PT Cruiser, and sitting inside this one only confirmed that she'd love it.
Moar GM!
A dusty Ranchero also made an appearance.
There were also several 5.0 Mustang Fox bodies lying around, some with and without engines, and another garage with three more Falcons in various states of restoration, as well as a few high-end RC cars. Other daily drivers were two 2012 Ford (of course) F-250 Super Duty trucks and a donkey.

What is a raging semi?

It's a joke, since semi refers to a semi-erection, a "raging semi" is impossible. Basically means I was aroused.

Looks like a 1970 Torino.

I have more or less this version of the Falcon dash, but no shift indicator, because stick.

'64 Mercury Comet. Expanding the Falcon collection sideways.

'64 grille, IIRC.

Non-tapered side relief = 60-63(like mine), but I can't be more specific.

I want to be so manly that even my non-raging erections rage. Btw, I knew exactly what a semi was, lol, I was wondering how a semi could be "raging", since, by definition, it is not.

Did he get the shock tower brackets chromed, or is there somebody selling these, I wonder... I also like that he left the stock tower braces in place and didn't go gaudy with the radiator - kind of a stock+ appearance.
